Third day of racing aboard Hublot in the Vendée Arctique
"Well, we are in the rigging, rather in the sails, I tried to repair the J2, it’s no easy, we have a hole and it’s the second time that I climb on the mast.
I can’t glue it, the sail is salty but even after degreasing it, it doesn’t fits. So I think we are going to stop trying to repare, it’s safer ! And we will save our sail ! However we have a great view, we are not so bad here !Now I would like to drink a coffee in the cabin, the bar reopened this morning. It's not that I'm bored, but well, there's something better! Well, I failed miserably this morning, but at least I can say that I tried to fix a J2 in the middle of the mast, in the air. And well, it doesn’t work ! Not on this sail anyway !"
