Team AMAALA crossed the finish line of the fifth leg of The Ocean Race Europe on Tuesday at 7:32 p.m., after 9 days, 4 hours, 32 minutes, and 8 seconds of racing from Genoa to Boka Bay, between the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia, and Sicily.
A magnificent arrival, as we have come to expect from the team, bathed in the light of the setting sun after a long crossing of the Mediterranean and Adriatic Seas, bringing the offshore leg of this incredible challenge around Europe to a close. During this journey, the young crew in training withstood every challenge... and passed with flying colors this first test in preparation for their participation in The Ocean Race around the world in 2027.
