Here we are downwind! Under a large gennak, triple-head, the sea has calmed down and we can see heads popping out of the boat again after a difficult first few days.
The crew is starting to regain their strength, eating, drinking, and sleeping.
It feels good to feel the warmth of the sun on our skin and the boat gliding over the water. It's simply beautiful and pleasant.
The rest of the journey looks set to be quite long but calm. We are about three days from Port Said, but the weather forecast is a bit unreliable.
Until now, we've had to sail cautiously because the sea was too rough, but now we'll be able to optimize our speed so as not to lose a minute on the route. We should pass under Crete during the night, before heading more or less directly to Egypt!
